I have a funny story to share with all of you (Rachel, Paige, and Shay) Well actually I already told Shay on her Myspace, but it's too funny so I have to share it with you.
Yesterday I went to get my nails done, and Ryan went with me because he got his taxes done right before. So I was getting my nails done and I know all the girls there pretty well and some of them weren't busy so they ended up giving Ryan a manicure. LOL, and then during the time of him getting his hands done we were teasing him saying that he's going to want to get his feet done. Now mind you he plays hockey and his feet are NOT cute..LOL. After he was finished he sat next to me and then he asked if they had time to do his feet...LOL. They ended up not having time because their clients show up, so we had to make him an appointment for two weeks when I get my nails done so he can get his toes done...LOL. Oh man... hope you enjoyed that...hahha.

Happy Birthday Big Dub
In June 2003 I met my boyfriend, Ryan, over the internet (I know, I know.. very scary & not safe). A couple weeks of talking we decided to meet @ Denny's in Palmdale. He told me that he was going to bring his one his best friends with him, Wes, incase he needed protection..LOL. So I decided to bring my best friends, Tammy & Amanda. I figured we would be able to take them if something goes wrong.. LOL. Mind you, I was very excited to meet Ryan. The picture he sent me made him look very hott..LOL. So us 3 girls were waiting there and then they pulled up. They both got out of the car, now I don't know if it was because Wes was so huge and buff.. but Ryan looked like a little weak man..LOL. But I remember hugging Wes before Ryan...LOL. And I remember him standing there with his big smile and laughing! So all 5 of us went into the Denny's and didn't even order anything. And everytime Ryan & I would talk to each other they would stop talking and listen to us... So Wes decided that we go to the park and all hang out. So since Ryan and I couldn't talk Wes took in opon himself to ride with my friend so Ryan and I can actually talk...LOL. I remember that day so clearly. From that night, I can honestly say that Wes was a good friend of mine. And now being with Ryan for almost 5 years, Wes has become a great friend, someone I could count on. When Ryan and I went through a breakup.. even though he loved Ryan, he was helping me feel better and kept telling Ryan to pull his head out of his butt..LOL. Honestly, there are not too many people like him and that's a shame.
On November 21, 2007 I got off work and was going to get something to eat before my hair appointment when Ryan called me and said he needed to meet me somewhere before because there was something he needed to tell me. I laughed and told him he can tell me about the Ham he got from work when I got home. But he was very serious and said he really needed to talk to me.. which was odd only because he usually tell me anything over the phone or can at least wait till I got home. So we decided to meet on Sand Canyon and Soledad in the Coco's parking lot. I remember him getting out of the car and told me to come outside.. so I stepped out of the car.. and all I remember him saying was, " I don't know how to tell you this.... Wes Died." I didn't now how to react.. all I know is my boyfriend is standing in front of me, hanging on tight and balling his eyes out. I couldn't get it in my head what he really had said. All I remember is holding him and telling him that everything is going to be alright. I was so afraid to hear how it happen. The last thing I wanted to hear was that he was in a bad car accident. But even though I loved Wes and I didn't want it to be true.. My heart was at ease when he said he died peacefully in his sleep. The last thing I would want to hear is that he suffered. I couldn't understand why it had happen to Wes, out of all people. But the more I thought about the person he was.. it all made sense to me. I believe you have to earn your spot in Heaven.. and with the person Wes was.. I know he did. But the world would be a wonderful place if there were more people like him.
My heart goes out to his family and his wonderful wife, Paige. I can understand why he was an amazing person, his whole family is! Today is Wes's 26th Birthday, and I'm sure that this birthday for him in Heaven, is amazing and probably his best birthday yet!
I just thought being that today was his birthday, I would spend the day remembering the great times and memories of him.
